Project Overview

This modular bookshelf system was designed for a client with an extensive book collection and changing spatial needs. The system consists of individual modules that can be arranged in countless configurations, allowing the client to adapt the shelving as their collection grows or as they move to new spaces. Each module is crafted from sustainably harvested oak with precision joinery that allows for easy assembly and disassembly without compromising structural integrity. The design balances open and closed storage, providing both display space for cherished items and concealed storage for less visually appealing necessities.
